Nov. 2nd - 7 Presidential Candidates Discussing Disability

We realize this is last minute and you may not be able to attend the Presidential Candidate Forum: Focus on Disability and Healthcare in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, we want you to have the information and watch the live stream!

In this first of it's kind forum, people with disabilities formulated many of the questions that will be asked of the candidates attending (Sen. Cory Booker, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, John Delaney, Sen Chris Dodd for VP Biden, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Rep Beto O'Rourke, Sen Sanders, annd Mr. Yang). Former Senator and Disability Rights Advocate Tom Harkin will be the keynote speaker.

Many individuals involved with the #UpgradeMedicaid team will be present and our amazing podcast interviewer, Zachary Mecham, will be present to record some additional stories and some of the event.

Candidates will engage with our community sequentially. Moderated by Accessibility for All, members of Disability Caucuses, and the Linn County Medical Society Representatives.
